Welcome to The Project, your trusted partner in promoting financial wellbeing and preventing homelessness across South Birmingham and beyond.
Established in 1991 as the South Birmingham Young Homeless Project, we have over three decades of experience providing expert advice and support to those in need. Based in Rednal, South Birmingham, we began with a passionate focus on empowering young people in our communities. Over time, we have expanded our reach to deliver vital assistance to individuals aged 16 and over, helping them navigate challenges, improve their stability, and build a brighter future. Our commitment to making a positive difference remains at the heart of everything we do.

This accreditation covers key areas, including housing, debt, welfare benefits, disabilities, and tailored support for older people and young people. We are also regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), and are members of Advice UK, amongst others.
